LOSERS' MENTALITIES

Mr. Phil Jackson, President, New York Knicks, stated that the team "has developed a loser's mentality."
Courtesy of Live Lesium, the outline below describes "Losers Mentalities," which should be construed as a great MORALE BOOSTER, not an ANTI-SLAPP violator.
FIVE (5) MENTALITIES LOSERS HAVE THAT WINNERS AVOID
What is a loser? It's quite the childish term but it doesn't refer literally to a person but rather a mentality. A loser is not literally someone who is losing. It's not someone who is not skilled socially. It's not someone who is weak. And it definitely not someone who doesn't give up.
So what makes the loser mentality?
No Urgency for Originality
Quite annoyingly so, these kinds of people always follow what is cool, and what is hot (nothing wrong with that), problem is, they avoid anything anyone considers weird, or not cool, or odd. They avoid any kind of ridicule and originality by playing it safe.
It's that one person forcing himself to go to do everything to be accepted rather than embracing his own self first. It's that one person that makes fun of you for listening to alternative music because all he/she and their friends listen to is hip-hop and rap. It's that one person that questions why you do what you do but doesn't hear the answer.
A winner doesn't follow. A winner has tunnel vision their own perception of life. They have their own ideals, they don't accept everything they see or hear, and the only thing they follow is their dreams.
No Openness to Change When all Hell is Breaking Loose
The loser is always the problem not the solution. Whether it is the disintegration of their life or their business, they never make changes to attempt to fix things. They either just let things fall apart, quit, or make periodical changes and revert back to their old ways. Even worse, they will not accept any help.
Lack of openness to change is why you consistently see marriages falling apart for example. If the partnership is struggling, that means things either need to be tweaked or completely changed. If one of you isn't willing to make a change, then things will fall apart. But without a doubt, action is necessary.
A winner understands that sometimes, a change (big or small) is all you need to fix a big problem. They are always looking for ways to improve things and are open minded to many different solutions.
No Sense of Direction in Their Life
They just don't have any specific thing they want to achieve in their life, they don't have any ideals they stand for in their life and the problem is: thy aren't looking for one.
We're all lost at some point, that's a fact. Some of us are still lost now. But if we are not at least looking for our meaning and role in life as super intelligent beings then we may as well succumb to living as a shell of a human (a harsh as that sounds, it is true). Like #1, they just go where the wind blows and hope that things go well. They aren't in control of their destiny.
A winner will always be looking for their place in life if they haven't found it yet. They never give up and they never settle for "just enough." they believe in the idea that humans were made to innovate and accomplish positive things and they are willing to go to the ends of the world to find what makes them happy.
No Willingness To Work Hard
They are the ones trying to find the easiest way to get somewhere big without too much effort. They feel entitled to a life they just aren't willing to work for. When it comes to hard work (that means long hours of continuous work and erudition through the night consistently for months and years) they are never to be found. They aren't willing to make sacrifices for what they want.
They may be able to do something and work at it for a few weeks, but they never ever make it to the finish line.
A winner has a plan with steps. a winner know that bumps will come along with way and they understand that it's all apart of the process and experience. They aspire for greatness so much that they even enjoy and cherish these bumps because the experience itself is a masterful achievement.
No Gain from Pain
They always concentrate on how much it hurt when they broke their leg. They never think about or embrace the fact that the leg will heal and grow back stronger.
And that's the difference between making it to the finish line and giving up. If you can't see a positive in every negative, then you are bound to give up and lose.
Winners don't let negatives deter them. Even in the worst events they optimistically try to find even the smallest glimmer of hope in it. They're always growing from negative events and are smart enough to not make the same mistakes again wastefully.
I am not trying to bash anyone or call anyone a legitimate loser. The idea is to call a sense of urgency within people who are under this kind of mentality. Get in the habit of winning. Studies even prove that winning increases the production of good chemicals in your body, while losing does the opposite.
What do you guys think? Are there any other qualities that deter us from success? Comment right under.
